Admission to 3-Years BBA in Culinary Arts

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

A pass in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board/Council with a minimum of 50% in case of General and OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC and ST candidates. Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in Entrance Examination 2020 on provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) scoring the required percentage of marks is not submitted at the time of admission or latest by 30.09.2020

The offer of admission is subject to verification of original certificates/documents at the time of admission.  If any candidate is found ineligible later, even after admission to the Institute, his/her admission will stand cancelled.

AGE LIMIT

For candidates from General and OBC categories, upper age limit is 22 years as on 01st July 2020.  Candidates born on or after August 01, 1997 are eligible.  In the case of Scheduled Caste, PD and Scheduled Tribe candidates, upper age limit is 27 years as on 01st July 2020. That is SC/ST candidates born on or after August 01, 1992 are eligible. Upper age limit for Physically Challenged candidates shall be reckoned as per the category he/she belongs to i.e. General/SC/ST/OBC.  Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/Pre-University Certificate shall be considered as the authentic proof for age criteria.   At the time of counseling, this certificate must be produced in original as a proof of age, failing which the candidate will not be considered for counseling/admission.

Important Information

Admission to first year of BBA Culinary Art program is strictly based on the All India Rank (AIR) earned by the candidate in the written test of Entrance Examination and their choice of preference of the campus.

Ranks are strictly based on the marks obtained by the candidate in written examination.  No group discussion or interviews are involved.

Admission is followed by checking of eligibility of candidates, verification of documents, depositing of required fees for the first semester.

Information Brochure can be downloaded from the website www.ici.nic.in and online application link will be available from 1st Jan, 2020 to 15th July, 2020. Confirmation sheet (i.e. print out of online application) along with photograph, other documents and application fee Demand Draft (DD in favour of ICI payable at NOIDA) should be sent to following address latest by 30th July, 2020.

Language of Question Paper

Question Paper will be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi (except for English Language).

Marking Scheme for (Entrance Examination) Written Test

Each correct answer under Numerical Ability & Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning & Logical Deduction, General Knowledge& Current Affairs and English Language components carry one mark.  There is no negative marking.

Result of Written Test

Result of Written Test and allotment of seat for admission shall be announced on the ICI website or www.thims.gov.in. However, the admission should be confirmed by physically present of the candidate along with original document and by depositing one semester fee at any of the campus of ICI.

NOTE:  100 percent Hostel seats are available in both the campus of ICI, allotment will be done on the basis of demand only. Charges for hostel etc. as mentioned below in the fee column.

Applicants should choose any one Test Centre from the above15 Test Centres for appearing in the Written Examination and indicate the same in the Entrance Examination Application Form in the appropriate column.

Hostel facility for 100% Boys and Girls are available in both the campuses. Hostel fee (Including Mess Charge) Rs.30000/- per Semester will be charged if the facility availed.
